IELTS One Skill Retake

To help you feel confident going into your IELTS test, we’ve developed IELTS One Skill Retake. You can now retake any one component of the test; Listening, Reading, Writing or Speaking without redoing all four sections.

• IELTS One Skill Retake is accepted* by universities, professional bodies and the Australian Department of Home Affairs for most visa subclasses. Click here to find out which organisations accept your IELTS One Skill Retake test scores. *Always check the website of the organisation you intend to apply to for more information about eligibility requirements.

• If you want to submit an Enquiry On Results on your full IELTS test, do this before you register for One Skill Retake. You cannot request a remark after you've booked IELTS One Skill Retake. We recommend you request a remark as soon as you receive your results, ideally within two weeks, so you have enough time to apply for your One Skill Retake test.

Who is eligible to take IELTS One Skill Retake?

You're eligible to book IELTS One Skill Retake after you have recently completed a full test on computer and received your IELTS test score, from an eligible test centre. If you do not see the "Retake" button above each skill as shown in the following [How to book] image, you are not eligible for the One Skill Retake and cannot take the test.

Please note that IELTS on Paper and "IELTS Online" are not eligible to take the IELTS One Skill Retake.

Test Fee

18,000 yen (tax included, payable by credit card or at a convenience store)

Test Period

You must book your IELTS One Skill Retake within 60 days of your original test date.

Result

3-5 days after the examination. You will be notified by e-mail.

*Paper Test Report Form (TRF) will not be issued. If you need one for special circumstances, please apply using the form .
