Who is eligible to take IELTS One Skill Retake?
You're eligible to book IELTS One Skill Retake after you have recently completed a full test on computer and received your IELTS test score, from an eligible test centre. If you do not see the "Retake" button above each skill as shown in the following [How to book] image, you are not eligible for the One Skill Retake and cannot take the test.
Please note that IELTS on Paper and "IELTS Online" are not eligible to take the IELTS One Skill Retake.
Test Fee
18,000 yen (tax included, payable by credit card or at a convenience store)
Test Period
You must book your IELTS One Skill Retake within 60 days of your original test date.
Result
3-5 days after the examination. You will be notified by e-mail.
*Paper Test Report Form (TRF) will not be issued. If you need one for special circumstances, please apply using the form .
Who accepts IELTS One Skill Retake?
IELTS One Skill Retake is accepted* by universities, professional bodies and the Australian Department of Home Affairs for most visa subclasses. Click here to find out which organisations accept your IELTS One Skill Retake test scores.
*Always check the website of the organisation you intend to apply to for more information about eligibility requirements.
How to book One Skill Retake
Log in to your IELTS profile
Go to "My tests" and click on "Past tests" to view your scores.
Click on the "Retake" button for the skill you wish to retake.
Select a test date and pay the test fee.
Cancellation / Change
Please send in your request form at least 72 hours prior to your test time. No refunds will be issued after the deadline.
If you want to transfer your test date, please choose a date within 60 days of the original test date. You may only make one transfer.
Please note that no refunds or rescheduling of the test date will be made if you are late or absent on the day of the test.
