If there are any vacancies, each test center will contact you by e-mail at least 3 days prior to the test date.

The test will be completed in one day in the following order: Writing (60 minutes), Reading (60 minutes), Listening (40 minutes), and Speaking (11-14 minutes). The test will start at 9:00 and end at 12:20.

Speaking test will be conducted in the afternoon of the same day. The time will be announced individually by each test centre 3 days before the test date.

● Confirmation Notice
・Your test center will send you “Confirmation Notice” (details on the day of the exam) .
・The Speaking test schedule will be notified by email at least 3 days prior to the test date.
・If you have any questions or inquiries regarding the exam confirmation, please contact your test center by 17:00 the business day before the test date.

● Online Results
Results can be viewed online here:
For IELTS on Paper, you can check 13 days days after the test
For IELTS on Computer, you can check 3 to 5 days after the test
In order to access your scores online, you will need to enter your full name, date of birth, and your passport number.
● IELTS Test Report Form (TRF)
The Test Report Form (TRF) will be printed and sent out by postal mail 13 days after the test day. The test taker will receive ONE original Test Report Form. Replacement TRFs cannot be issued. The transcript is valid for 2 years from the date of the written examination. Contact an IELTS Official Test Centre for more information.

Sending additional transcripts to organizations

You may request up to five 5 additional copies of TRF to be sent to educational institution, immigration office, etc. free of charge within 2 years of the test date. Further copies can be issued for a fee of 1,200 JPY each.

Enquiry of Result

If you are not satisfied with your result, you can apply for an "Enquiry on Results."
● Fee: 15,000 JPY (inclusive of 10% tax) Fully refunded if your band score changes.
● Request period: This request must be made within six weeks of the test date.
