Update passport and personal details

How to change/update your personal information

It is possible to update your personal information (including passport scan) by yourself after you have booked a test.

If you are unable to make changes to your personal information for any reason including the system preventing you from making changes as it is locked during the period immediately before the test, please contact the test centre .

▶ Prepare your passport

Please upload your passport copy (the page with your photo and signature) that is valid on the day of the exam to your computer or device. Please be aware that if the image size is too large, you may not be able to upload it.

Please note that driver licenses and student IDs are not accepted as valid IDs. You must upload a copy of your valid passport.

Image specs:

• Number of pixels: minimum 800 X 700 pixels

• Size: less than 1.5MB

• File Format: tiff, jpg, doc, docx, pdf, png, gif, jpeg

• Color

▶ Please follow these instructions

1. Please log in at Book IELTS Test Online | IDP IELTS

2. You will see a page titled "My Details".

If you want to change your name, address, etc. ➡ Click the blue button labeled "Update Details".

If you want to change your passport image, ➡Click the blue button labeled "Details".

3. If you want to change the passport image, click "Application Details" in the menu at the top of the page.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will see the passport image. Click "Select Image" below the image to select the new image, then click the "Continue" button in green at the bottom right to save the changes.

*Be sure to change your new passport number and expiration date as well.

4. Once you have completed this step, log out and log back in to confirm that the new image has been successfully uploaded.
