IELTS for UKVI : Cancellation and Transfer Policy

Transfer

For IELTS for UKVI, you can change either your module or test date or both once free of charge. It should be more than 15 days before the test date, and if there were spaces available.

However, if any of the following conditions apply, your booking will be treated as cancelled and you will receive a refund minus the applicable processing fee.

• If the changed test date was more than three months from the originally scheduled test date.

• If you want to make a second or subsequent change.

• If you want to make a change after 14 days before the test date.

Cancelling

You can cancel your IELTS for UKVI test up until the day before the test. The amount of the refund will vary depending on how many days until the test date, and the test fee will be refunded minus a designated processing fee.

If you cancel after the deadline, you will not be able to cancel, and we will not be able to refund your test fee.

However, if you have any of the following special circumstances, you may be able to get a refund by submitting a certificate and application form:

• Serious illness or injury (※Colds and minor illnesses are not covered)

• Misfortunes of relatives within the third degree of kinship

In the above cases, please submit original supporting documentation (such as a medical certificate from a hospital or funeral invitation) within five days of the test date you registered.

Please note that no refunds will be given if you are absent without permission on the day of the test.

How to Apply

If you want to change or cancel your application, please submit the IDP-IELTS form, which can be found in the IDP IELTS Test Portal, embedded in the confirmation email we send after confirming your booking.
